WHAT IT COSTS

Initial Meeting

The initial site meeting lasts up to one hour and allows us to briefly inspect the property and to consider your requirements. It allows Wastell & Porter to bring to your attention any relevant issues such as planning or building regulations. After the meeting we will write to you with our fee proposal to take your scheme up to planning.

Feasibility

This is the design stage, where we sketch out your ideas and requirements to formulate a design that will be taken forward to planning and construction. This is completed on a time charge in accordance with our terms of business.

Planning / Construction Packages / Tenders / Contract Administration

For the majority of contracts, we will give you a detailed fixed quote for all the remaining stages up to the completion of the work. Each job is calculated separately, based on the type, the complexity, the size of the contract and the level of service you require.

Note: All quoted fees exclude VAT and normal expenses for printing, postage, disbursements, travelling etc.

You can select all or part of Wastell & Porter Architect’s quoted services to suit your requirements. If you want only an hour’s general advice then that is all you will pay for. If you need just the detailed drawings, or want the scheme to be guided to the planning permission stage and no further, then that is fine too.
